mason is STILL one of those people that, after he loses in mge due to his mediocre dm, says "nah, you fucking suck" when his opponent says "gg"
now the last time i saw this happen was about 3 days ago, so i shudder to imagine how big his ego is now that he finally made it to invite after failing to be decent in IM for 3 straight seasons, during which he surrounded himself with enough former inviters to fill up a small LAN, and during which he made the transition from pocket (which he was awful at) to roamer (which he was still awful at) to medic (which was inevitably the class which he could fuck up the least)
gl on mix^
wow my time machine to 2006 really worked!
luv u 2 eporch
idk if it's related to this, but i deleted the sourcescheme thing and now water/snow are completely transparent
as in, i can see the entire map beneath both of them
anjirocoolCOULD WE SEE THE RETURN OF 38SPECIAL, DEMO LEGEND
i asked him the other day and he said he's only interested in highlander
rip 38stickies :~(
mfw americans clap when apprehending a terrorist
after taking some time off from being part of a team last season, i'd really like to get back into it for s14. i've played a couple seasons of open and one of IM, which was unfortunately marred by all sorts of roster issues and other such problems. i've definitely kept in practice since then, though, doing a lot of DM, MGE, and pugnas, as well as ringing for some teams, and i would love to play in IM again.
i feel like demo is still the strongest of my classes, but i would definitely play pocket or roamer for a team that needs it

similar to the subject of gully above, i've yet to see anyone comment on why koth_ashville is so bad
i think it's an extremely fun map to play (on any class) whereas soldier or medic on viaduct is an absolute nightmare
if we're potentially looking for a viaduct replacement, i'd like to hear some actual discussion on it rather than someone saying "i like koth_ashville" and then everyone ignoring it like the last four times someone mentioned it ITT
they might not be responsible for the ddosing, but they're still enormous fuckheads for doing what they did
the legendary 5 round second half comeback that people will speak of in awe for decades to come
yeah really who are those shitlords ktb and thrasher? they sure dont stand up to the hardened inviters cabin and cprice at any rate
So basically, this will be the debut episode of The Mustard Show, with our eponymous host talking at his audience and "co-casters" (who will be doing 0 casting, and only interjecting anything when mustard runs out of breath and is forced to get artificial air from a container by his bedside) for roughly an hour, which incidentally offers a very accurate glimpse into the average night of scrims for mustard's team.
I expect mustard to take a very bl4nk-like approach to casting, eg. telling the teams that what they're doing is wrong and dumb, and offering insight into what they can improve upon, only it's made a lot more funny by the fact that mustard is at best only marginally better than the people he will be evaluating. And if nja is able to get more than 10 words out during the duration of the cast, you can look for him to adopt a more traditional role of talking about the plays as a caster normally would, though it might become awkward as the cast progresses and mustard degenerates into a blathering mess of vaguely aimed criticisms of the players in the match.
All in all, I expect this to be a very entertaining and informative start to a hopefully long-lived series by Mustard & Co. (but mostly mustard), even if most of the entertainment and information is derived from me exaggeratedly talking to several people over steam, whom I will be roping into watching at least a little bit of the show tonight.
