#65 tenaciousg looking again open scout in Recruitment (looking for team)

tenaciousg was saying stuff like this and posting like this in the year 2008. if he is a troll he is the most dedicated troll of our times, and if he is dedicated enough to troll for 4+ years, he probably needs mental health assistance just as much as if the things he says are real

#1 ESEA News Invite Coverage in TF2 General Discussion

hi

so once again this season i will be doing the invite coverage for http://www.eseanews.com

in season's past i have said to myself "okay i'm gonna do cool feature articles like interviews and that dumb fanfic thing i did about S and get us some extra written content." the issue was that all of those things made me hate myself and writing them was boring and trying to get good answers out of interviewees is like pulling teeth (except for soup, who did a sick job)

so instead of doing that, i am going to ask you dudes - what should i do for feature articles this season? what do you actually want to see covered? it can be anything from dumb drama or gossip or invite rumors or whatever, i just want to see ideas and see what you people will actually want to read and respond to.

the first thing i have done and that will go up tonight or tomorrow depending on when the graphics are finished is an article about the b4nny/Tyrone combo splitting up, and there will be a preseason power rankings article up on probably this coming Sunday with predictions to come.

#3 Scout and Demo lft mid-high open in Recruitment (looking for team)

i've played a full season of highlander with nomad now and he's one of the funniest coolest dudes in video games that i've met

he's very good at staying alive on demo and is able to put out so damage, could use a bit more aggression and decisiveness in his play but those will improve once he spends some time in a team

i dunno who the hell nyvves is but if he's 1/10th as funny as nomad he's a cool dude

#2 Attention writey people in TF2 General Discussion

several european writers (admirable, jimmybreeze, kaidus, others i'm certain to have forgotten) worked with cadred in the past and provided some pretty good tf2 coverage

unfortunately, they announced late last year that they would be dropping tf2 as a title and would no longer provide coverage of it or its scene or its events, so if you're going to be applying to them to write about tf2 you'd probably have to make a pretty persuasive argument to them. not trying to dissuade anyone, just letting you know of the bumpy road you must ride

that said, if there's someone out there interested in writing on cs:go/sc2/LoL/whatever they cover and you have some amount of talent/dedication, it's a pretty good site to make a name for yourself on and you accrue points over time that can be put in towards hardware rewards and richard lewis is generally a pretty cool/accepting dude to work with

#2 logitech g400 problem? in Hardware

people in your etf2l thread already answered this, but it means there's a problem with your wire where it's losing connection and needs to be re-soldered. if you're still under warranty, logitech will most likely replace your mouse for free.

#4 Would this be a good 120 hz monitor? Says 240 in Hardware

i spent a bit of time looking around and apparently that monitor has somewhere from 60-90ms of input lag so that thing would be diarrhea tier for gaming

#7 i have an im roster in TF2 General Discussion

laser beams were willing to forfeit matches to delay until we had both zbryan and ben around to play

hijacking a roster requires dedication. be prepared to do the same if necessary. don't get HRG'd.

#6 System lag time in Off Topic

if you go to setup > graphics setup you can change the sensitivity

i just set it to my actual tf2 sensitivity number and it seems roughly 1:1
