tatuwahhornsby only played 274 games in his final 7 seasons
his offensive achievements were insane and were post deadball era
dude was hitting .300+ in deadball era
jackie did great things for the game but was nowhere near the goat 2b
yeah hornsby's offensive capabilities for the era were stellar, and i can see the argument for lajoie and probably collins. I really think if jackie had the extra 8ish years to play in the mlb he would contend for the goat. At that point it gets to be kind of a Bo Jackson type of argument though.
