Sony is breached one month before the film was scheduled for release, yet I don't buy into that it's due to being an offensive film for KJI & party. This initially was a case of blackmailing a successful company, demanding for lots of money or we delete all your shit/make public type deal - and then The Interview was conveniently being released at the end of the next month. Of course NK were well aware that a film about the assassination of their leader was going to be made, probably even when it was first in concept(licensing, rights) they knew. So potentially one to two years ago they could have known this was coming out. And sure they could actually be behind all of this, outsourcing tasks to underground groups/whatever, but why go about it the way they did? Surely NK has the means to do much more damage than what we saw. Despite how crazy the leaders have been over there it really doesn't add up when you consider the facts. If they wanted to start a (cyber)war, they would make it apparent.

It makes more sense to believe that whatever group is doing this is because they simply can. Honestly, it looks like a poor attempt to start an actual war between two countries using pretty basic methods. Sure, at face value, it makes sense that NK might be behind all of this, but it really doesn't at the same time. The news reports in recent days don't help the issue at all. We fucked up majorly by reporting to the news that Nk was "definitely behind" all of this after the first day, then we backpedal the rest of the week lol. I feel like they are just riding out the public opinion wave extremely well, whoever these fuckers are. I mean for seven days they had two countries go ballistic on each other over weak claims, slowly coaxing both countries population towards war mentality. It's kind of hilarious actually.

I feel like the group that did this -
1) knew that Sony was a vulnerable target (laid-off system administrator who was pissed perhaps???)
2) needed a "spotlight" successful company for more rapid/efficient news confusion
3) took advantage of The Interview being released thanks to the obviously offensive content
4) group motive changes - this now becomes a giant fuck you to two nations who hate each other/possibly in hopes of starting a war

Why? Why not? We'll just have to wait. It would suck though if this was the beginning of a never ending cyber war with permanently anonymous hackers you literally cannot touch. I think we're all pretty aware of the possible turmoil that could stem from a cyber war between two countries, I hope atleast......

Really really well made mouse, the sensor feels flawless so far too. It's pretty amazing how accurate this optical sensor is for the price that we all got it for.

LOD is taking a bit to get used to. Is it really 2m LOD? Not sure why it feels so different. Also, can you edit the LOD of a mouse or is it always preset?

The driver's seem to lock up for like 20 seconds whenever I apply a change(windows 7 x64), still works though. Not big issues since its still new.

Love the LED colors too. Just a really solid mouse so far, I'm impressed.
