tfw you're somehow lower than a dead team.
The rest of my IEMs are way over 200 so uh, there ya go.
What sort of sound signature are you looking for? I don't like recommending stuff without knowing that first.
seen this guy enough around in tf2center and sometimes he'll shit on himself about his own skill and what divison hes playing, but overall he just wants to improve at the game and is quite a joy to play with.
When all the drama and shit isn't about you...

Thats the most build up ive ever seen leading to a team dying.

Doing some alching and agility.
Making a zerker with some supplies from my main.
One thing I use to get my head straight is to breathe in slowly for 5 or so seconds. Hold my breath for the same time, and slowly breathe out for the same time as well.
In 5, hold 5, out 5.
This also helps with catching yourself if you have hyperventilation problems and helps with staying calm if your heart rates go up.

How many attempts?
HudsynIt's been a while since we've looked at our bingo card. Have I missed anything major in marking off squares? Only thing that I know I might have missed is if product week has killed any teams (it almost killed mine tonight tbh)

boxcaremoP sure emo retard kills team thing should be checked. Someone from boxcar's team straight up left the team without a word and it died, something like that. This is factual

THANKING VULC AND NOT ME? HELLO?
AND WITH C9s ONLY 2 MAP WINS OVER FAZE ON LAN.
MAJOR. CHAMPIONS. LETS. FUCKING. GO. BOYS.

SearchlightThat post was sort of tongue-in-cheek. However, I do think that a major can never be 100% competitive - if you wanted to provide perfect conditions, you'd let the teams play in a hotel room somewhere in a multi-day round-robin format without playoffs. The majors are as much a celebration of the game and an opportunity to interact with fans as they are a pure sporting contest.
Of course, that doesn't mean that you shouldn't do all in your power to put teams on equal standing, like provide soundproof booths. But excessiveky lamenting some team's results misses the point of the major imo, and the other dozens of random things that influence who wins.
Here's a quote from Michal Blicharz, the man running IEM for 7 years, on soundproof booths:
Soundproof booths are not entirely soundproof. All of the booths I have seen or been inside of dampen 70-80% of the noise. If you add a soundproof headset on top, you will only be aware that there's a level of noise in the background. No booth will protect you from knowing that the crowd is roaring.
From my experience, the headset alone does more than enough to prevent players from hearing anything crucial. At most IEM stages we have the sound set up in such a way that you cannot understand speech if it's coming out of the speakers.
To me, the biggest benefit of having a booth is that you have a clean studio environment for the cameras and they look good on stage. More of the TV broadcast than anything else.
SearchlightHuge props to C9, it didn't even look close by the end. I don't think they can take down Faze, but then again I'd have said the same about this series. Good stuff.
And now for a list of meaningless and inappropriate excuses for SK:
- standin
- had to play a 5 hr series earlier that day
- got their plays called out by the crowd
- 100T attended the major undercover and trapped SK in a week-long drug-fueled bacchanal
Interesting mentioning crowd calling plays for a team. When SK fans did it during their match against FNATIC
