give a man a demo review and he stops feeding for a day... teach a man to demo review and he stops feeding for a lifetime...
but honestly teaching someone heuristics of how they can continue to grow themselves is the most helpful way you can mentor someone. for example, breaking demo reviews down into specific situations (uber ad/disad, player ad/disad, mids, etc) and understanding them both generally and on each map can help dilute the chaos of learning. understanding general principles is way more important than analyzing specifics. also, mindsets such as making sure to focus solely on your own game rather than thinking about your teammates' mistakes go a long way.
please GOD somebody bring back fantasytf2
i agree with sil that using gunboats is important for understanding the importance of each rocket rather than blasting off to switch to shotgun faster, but i think shotgun is still useful in getting more precise aim, since rockets can be pretty lenient with splash. healthy mix of both maybe :-)
RickI regret cashing out my btc at $16 a coin when I could've held onto my 250 BTC for when it spiked to 1200 USD for a nice 300k rip
this actually physically hurts to read oh my god
good luck to all of ora except condawg
i get the same problem, and it's not just in mge, it happens in 6s on both pugs and serveme
paying attention to your teammates mistakes makes you play 10x worse, just learn to always react to the situation that plays out rather than judging it
also realise you only get to meet tf2 friends at most twice a year, if you get a real life hobby you'll get to see your friends whenever you want
got 35 last year, 28 last time i took it.. road to zero autism boys lets go!!
