#62 New Open Teams, how's your season going? in TF2 General Discussion

Scout and leader for The Baddies: https://play.esea.net/teams/119431

After winning a joke UGC silver 6s season we decided that we wanted to try open. With some roster changes here and there, we all, with the exception of our other scout, are fresh from UGC. (Our roamer is basically fresh from lobbies) After the first week we made some more roster changes and we have been playing with that roster.

It's been a great experience. I don't think I've wanted to scrim as much as I have wanted to on this team, and I can feel myself improving. What's also been great is that besides scrims, we like to hang in Mumble and we've all become pretty good friends from it. It's also really been the first dedicated team that I've been on with all of us looking to get the most out of this season. Besides each other, some people from other teams have been really chill to hang with in Mumble (some of my b come to mind), and overall it's been a fun experience. We're hoping to have the rest of our season be as strong as it has been so far. Shoutout to glider for helping us (and me in particular) out with a lot of stuff, especially on sunshine/badlands week.

Also, scrimming this much has made me appreciate sleep a lot more (there's a big difference in my dm and gamesense from when I do sleep compared to when I do not).

(Oh, and shoutout to our demo's 9:37 badlands rollout B) )

#8 lft scout/med backup/main season 21 in Recruitment (looking for team)

Currently subbing for my team, I asked him to sub in one time, although he had not played scout in quite a long time he did perfectly fine. Once he begins to play tf2 again and derust his scout he will be a solid pickup for any team looking to improve and do well. Mumble-personality wise I have not heard him tilt and he is a very nice person overall.

Pick him up! :)

MCUnfortunately, megaboy had some hardware problems which means he is not able to play as a main on our roster until further notice. We picked up Tambo on pocket and moved myself over to scout. The current roster is as follows:

Scouts: Better and mc
Pocket: tambo
Roamer: nanimal
demoman: moxie
medic: Pops

go mc!!

#2 Midas LFT IM in Recruitment (looking for team)

Great scout. He has good DM and good gamesense and was the best player on his S18 team and despite being on the XCV team he isn't part of that at all. His sniper is also terrifying. Personality-wise he's a funny and somewhat memey guy to have in mumble but will be serious when he has to actually play. Doesn't get down when losing.

Pick him up.

#1 LF Mentor for Team in Mentoring

my team's in ugc silver atm and we are planning on going open for next season. we are all dedicated to improving but at this point, we are realizing that we cannot simply figure things out by ourselves anymore.

my team is mid open level ish (I say that because we beat some mid open teams from last season in scrims, our level is definitely up for interpretation), and we are aiming to make high open by the end of the next season of esea. we would like a mentor (im level) that can go through demos, review them, and also give us strategies for mids, pushes, etc.

add me here if interested: http://steamcommunity.com/id/ether_

thanks for looking!

Zarhi i know scar much more than anyone here. look,im not a person to hate, i'm an extremely tolerant person. but i thought scar was my friend but he ended up taking my $150 unusual from me right around Christmas. i hadn't eaten anything for months during my lunch break just so i could save the money. his ego is obnoxious, if you dont want a toxic experience, i wouldnt recommend him on your roster. good riddance (btw it was a disco beat down whoopi cap)

can confirm the unusual thing. ik Zar messaged me quite often saying that he was saving he was saving etc and he was so happy when he got it. the whole unusual incident caused him to almost quit tf2 and unfriend everyone, it hit him pretty hard. zar's honestly one of the nicest people i know and the fact that his friend would do this to me was really shocking

#349 PC Build Thread in Hardware

Looking to get a PC, budget is $700-$1100.
I need a new monitor (will get the BenQ XL2411Z if it fits in budget), got keyboard and mouse.
I'll be mainly using this for tf2, and I'd prefer being able to get over 120 fps consistently, with an fps config.
Thanks in advance.
