#21 g400 vs g400s in Hardware

I had a G400, but it got the cord problem and started disconnecting. I RMA'd it with no hassles whatsoever, and they sent me a new G400s in the main within the week.

Besides looking stupider, it's the same exact mouse. Sensor can also go up to 4000 dpi, which nobody plays on, so it doesn't really matter. The stock 800 dpi still has the best tracking I believe as was with the G400. It's got a nice shape, comfortable, sweat doesn't show up on it, and its stock feet have a nice glide.

10/10 would recommend.

If you're getting one new you might as well get a normal G400, because there's really no difference except ~$25

#1 Debating whether or not to get a ModMic in Hardware

I currently have a Blue Snowball, and while it's a nice mic, I've heard it picks up my keyboard, mouse, and other people in my house a lot, which is obviously not optimal.

I'm considering getting a ModMic the next time they come in stock, since it supposedly has good sound quality, I can put it on my headphones, so I won't need to worry about placement, and it shouldn't pick up as much excess noise.

Also, since it's sound card reliant, I was also planning to pick up an Asus Xonar DG, but I'd probably pick that up either way, for the Dolby Headphone, unless anybody has any other ideas on sound cards, I'd like to hear them.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

#1 Low Demo LF Mentor in Mentoring

I've only played one season on UGC Platinum, on a team that basically fell apart, so I have very little league experience. I'm very eager and improve so I can play moderately well in Open S14. I mostly am looking for someone to answer some questions and possibly go over a few demos I might get when ringing. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks.

#39 Introducing: The greatest custom scoreboard ever in Customization

If you don't want to use GCFscape the text file is also uploaded to the Team Fortress 2 Wiki with every update: http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/File:Tf_english.txt

You just have to edit:

"Scoreboard_TimeLeft" "Server map time left: %s1:%s2:%s3"
"Scoreboard_TimeLeftNoHours" "Server map time left: %s1:%s2"
"Scoreboard_NoTimeLimit" "Server map time left: No time limit"
"Scoreboard_ChangeOnRoundEnd" "(Map change on round end...) Server map time left: 00:00"

to

"Scoreboard_TimeLeft" "%s1:%s2:%s3"
"Scoreboard_TimeLeftNoHours" "%s1:%s2"
"Scoreboard_NoTimeLimit" ""
"Scoreboard_ChangeOnRoundEnd" ""

to keep the scoreboard working.
