#61 ESEA S20 Grand Finals: Ascent vs. Team SoloUber in Matches

Did the teams select the maps or were they set by ESEA?

KanecoJust to be clear I am in good terms with Shounic. I just think our channel was positioned in such a way in the comp community with matchmaking coming that it would be the perfect opportunity and timing for both of us.

Also I believe our production value and "professional" feel on the channel as a whole is superior to NISLT's and I made that clear to Shounic, Of course NISLT reach is huge compared to our channel, it's a wonderful opportunity for Shounic and I wish him all the best, his production value is amazing, but I cannot hide that I came out of this a bit hurt not by Shounic but SIN which used that leverage he has to take this series from our channel just 2 weeks after we picked it up.

While I like the larger audience of NISLT, I think Kaneco does have a point that there is a bit of a disconnect between Backcap and the rest of the channel. It would be nice to shoutout tftv and comp.tf at the end of the video so that people that happen upon the video are going to places with more comp focused material instead of looking at stuff on SIN's channel.

SwedeRage put up enough of a fight that it wasn't boring to watch, but it was still pretty clear [R]eason was in control the whole time.

In light of the TSU-4G match yesterday, can we please switch out Granary for Sunshine?

The height variation on mid is just absurd. When soldiers jump on top of the crates, they are essentially three crates high above the point. I feel like experimenting with decreasing the displacement of the point while maybe going from 2 crates to 1 would help the mid.

AdmirableHallowtek is significantly better than tviq at sniping imo. and who goes sniper can often be dependent on spawn timings rather than position. it's not absurd to think tek might snipe a little bit
Are you high, nigga? TviQ is the greatest of all time 8)

I get that some players don't like it, but from a spectator's perspective, Sunshine is easily the better map.

ObiBack scatter is allowed. Isn't that guaranteed mini crits on a flank shot?

Back scatter is trash, don't worry.
