How do I not know like 95% of the AU players. Have I really been out of the scene for that long?
Heck

Reading these nerd essays are lowkey entertaining af, even tho I have fuck all idea what you two are on about lmfao.
huib14Bernal isn't even participating.. Carapaz will suprise, van der Poel to take first yellow
Oh, I completely forgot he wasn’t participating. Whoops
Agree that Carapaz will surprise.
1. I think Bernal has a strong chance this year. Ineos was so strong in the Giro.
2. Cavendish will surpass Eddy Merckx stage win record this tour.
Probably going to be a dead thread but idk..surely some of you guys will be watching?
Any predictions?
Old school vibes
KSI’s new song is actually good wtf: https://youtu.be/gfHbg53ykPY
eeeflyingbuddyIn English, the colour orange is named after the fruit..rather than vice versa.
this isnt true
Haha it is in fact true, google it!
In Old English, before the colour ‘orange’ was named. It was referred to as ‘Geoluread’, which in modern day terms, translates to yellow-red.

alfaflyingbuddyI mean it’s difficult to compare him to previous pockets because the game has evolved so much during it’s lifespan. Reptile for example was easily the best pocket of his time, yet he probably wouldn’t even be in high open by todays standards.
This seems to be a huge misconception nowadays, but older players were good at the game because of their ability to adapt to new metas and styles of gameplay.
Yea 2009 b4nny would suck ass vs 2021 b4nny too but his ability to adapt and improve is what kept him at the top. All the old players would be the same way if they kept playing but there is this huge denial going on where everyone nowadays thinks they are 100x better than anyone before them. It's just how the game was played back then, none of it had to do with the actual skill level of players. And if that were true, I should have never been invite again after taking a 3 year break, let alone make playoffs.
Clockwork could pick this game up at a moment's notice and still be top 3 easily, same with lansky probably.
I think jay is the best pocket in invite by far right now because he improves faster than anyone in this division when needed. He literally created a new way to play soldier with an unlock all of us thought was dogshit, so the only comparison of old ages I think would be platinum, so I think Jay/Plat/Lansky are like the same top level pocket.
You’re 100% right regarding old players ability to adapt to current meta. What I was more so getting at is, the playstyle of that era is vastly different to what it is now and it’s therefore really hard to compare..as you touched on in your 2nd para.

Anything with Kanye is great.
Has AimIsADick ever posted a comment that hasn’t been downfragged lmfao.
At this point he’d write a post along the lines of ‘1+1=2’ and I’d begin questioning my entire education, believing it to be untrue.
Better than I expected it to be tbh
Idk why but I’m really wondering where translucent feces got (her?) name from..
