DannyHollowOpti_not defending feno/mxr or any cheater on their cheating behavior but why in the world would you ban them from posting on a forum because they cheated ?
By cheating, did they break any forum rules ? (again, by cheating. I am not asking whether or not fenomeno broke a forum rule, I am asking if he broke a forum rule by cheating)
By cheating, does their opinion become automatically irrelevant on 100% of the topics that can be discussed on the forums and therefore should they be removed the right to post on TFTV ?
The cheating part and the shit posting part are two completely different things.
mirrorbans are meant to keep undesirable people off the community, instead of having to wait "well they haven't broken a rule here!" We ban them from posting on a forum of a game where they cheated I think that's very justifiable, every other game I've seen that has an active forum bans their cheaters as well cuz most of what they do is be salty about being banned and get the attention that they need.
Does their opinion become irrelevant for being a cheater? Yes lmao if they're commenting on anything competitive related their opinion is absolutely irrelevant since 1. They cannot play 2. They cheated, it's like wondering if the opinion of a waller in csgo is relevant in map design, it makes zero sense and its a completely irrelevant opinion, should they be removed to the right to post on TFTV? yeah? this place isn't absolutely public or government ran, there's moderation and owners to this place so they have all the right to remove someone if they don't want them.
there are plenty of people on this forum who exist with steam vac ban just fine
