If I'm not mistaken HDD's don't fully saturate SATA II so they don't get any speed boost from SATA III. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That wasn't what I was picturing, as spamming rockets from that far is pointless and a waste of ammo anyways. But if you were aware you could potentially see that scout. It doesn't take much movement to notice something in peripheral vision. I might not be sure it is a scout but there is a definite chance that I would think I might have seen something and comm it just in case.
peripheral
You sound like you have major tunnel vision if you don't pay attention to flanks while spamming and if checking your ammo count takes all of your attention span. Maybe staring at your crosshair/ammo count gives you eye strain.
Odissius
FYI it doesn't actually change anything while playing. You're too busy watching your ammocount/making calls/making sure to get out if they push and you're at a disadvantage.
You shouldn't be staring at your ammocount
OdissiusFzeroLooking at your profile page, you have the Benq monitor so you already have a 100ish FOV.
I feel like people in this thread do not know how the human eye works.
Enlighten us.
Say they up it too 105. Well, I think 105 is too low. I want it 15 degrees higher. Make it 120. Joe Schmo thinks 120 is too low. He wants it 15 degrees higher. Well, ESEA better make it 135, then.
hookyThere's an experimental version out with game capture. As long as you're not using DX8, your performance should be considerably better. I used to only be able to stream at 600p with maxframes and dx8; now, I have a good, possibly better, framerate with dx9 and dx9frames. All streamers should try it out and see how well it works for them IMO.

Does this work in fullscreen windowed or only fullscreen?
nvm doesnt matter i get bad frames in dx9 even though my gpu is only 50% loaded.

Stochast1cfrknlynaI dunno like 6 months ago or so it seemed to me that nearly every thread in r/tf2 had a bunch of comments complaining that it was there instead of r/truetf2 and sometimes even comments along the lines of competitive tf2 (sometimes 6v6 specific) blows. But maybe I am completely wrong and somehow these memories formulated themselves in my head, it wouldnt be the first time lolfrknCompetitive things posted in r/tf2 used to get a lot more downvotes/negative comments. This is a welcome change.I've never really seen any negative comments
Honestly, so what. If the posts about 6s get upvoted, then the majority obviously care. Just because there is a vocal negative minority doesn't mean we should stop trying to promote this event.
Yeah, I never really cared. I just think that recent efforts (newbie mixes?) have been very effective in making it clear that the 6s community is not "anti-fun" and "self-righteous" like some people used to think.

synchroDrewArx US casts are watchable at reasonable hours by spectators from US,~10-11PM is definitely not reasonable
lol what
last I checked most of the community didn't have a bedtime
8AM classes=self enforced bedtime. Albeit I usually go to bed at 12 or 1 anyways, but still
Okay, I will also be attending FITES. Will be driving from MD and should be able to carpool. Will be leaving from College Park, so if you live around there or anywhere between there and Harrisburg (off of 95 to Baltimore, around the western half of 695, or off of 83).
I hope they win this whole thing
