I'd love to have the conversation (I prefer the EU timer and win limit), but I don't think there's any point until Killing/Kalkin confirm that it is at least possible to get ESEA to change the time and win limits.
hypothetically, even if there was no growth at all
Do you or do you not love this game? Do you or do you not want to make it the best damn game we possibly can while it lasts?
I for one am all for donating to send teams to i52.
yeah, disappointing to see people on behalf of vtv throwing fuel on the fire and "blaming the americans" when 99.999% of us have absolutely nothing to do with it
i just want to watch a stream ffs
probably the same people that ddosed esea matches last season
"rumors from reliable sources" lol
DunderBroGrImpartialIf it were NA vs EU that would bring in more viewers but hopefully you americans will watch the finals anywayswwalruswhat s the viewership at i49 compared to i46?If I recall correctly, it was at about 4500 for the i46 Grand Finals. It may not be as high for i49 due to there only being 1 continent playing. Also, 11:00 a.m. EST is pretty early for a lot of North Americans, so it probably won't be as high for that reason too. (I know it was the same time for i46 Grand Finals.)
I'm sure most of the competitive players will but unfortunately there is little reason for the casual american viewer to tune in
nerkulmilonerkulI think rather than donating to each team we should donate to the prize fund for i52.
whats the point of raising the prize pot if teams cant make it to the lan???
It's how eSports works. Larger prizes make everything a little easier.
it'll be great to european teams (who will only have to put up around $500 each of their own money), but I dunno if an na team would want to put up more than $1.5k each for a chance at the prize pot.
nerkulAt least b4nny and Platinum will do what Epsi did and realise their real rivals are across the ocean. NA TF2 will be relevant again soon.
that won't happen
na tf2 isn't relevant? what?
HRG, BE MORE PATIENT PLEASE
You're attempting pushes you normally wouldn't and getting punished.
