Just guessing here but I think most people like the idea of limiting the number of weapons that cause bleed effects because it's annoying for visibility reasons. Although I think this has been improved over the past year with updates, and it is also hard to justify since we allow basher for building and that isn't going anywhere. Additionally, one of the downsides is no random crits which obviously does nothing in comp. The other downside is increased fire vulnerability, which is also going to be a rare scenario in 6s. So essentially there is no downside.

bump, I have 4 less teeth but I will be back at school and able to play starting tonight

I think I am mostly interested in backing up. Primarily interested in IM teams as I think I can play at the level and it will give me the best learning experience with the limited role of a backup. Only interested if I will actually get playtime, but it doesn't necessarily have to be in matches.
