Hi sigafoo, I really appreciate that you're putting this much money towards a video game but can you stop trying to push a format that nobody likes in an attempt to separate the community even further for literally no benefit and either don't do it at all or put your money towards something actually useful like an upcoming 6v6 LAN or an international team

I think my opinion on the crossbow is slightly biased because I main roamer and I like the idea of pushing off of damage and I don't like compensation for mistakes
If the TF Team would be bothered to read these threads I think a slight nerf in the healing and complete removal of uber building (how the fuck do you track) would make the crossbow perfect

I disagree with banning it though, crossbow is one of the only fun things about medic and people are just gonna play it less if the only interesting mechanic/weapon is removed from competitive play

In 1 hour the check in for this FACEIT cup will open. You are free to sign up either with a party/team or solo Q. Length of time of the cupdepends on how many teams are participating.

Important to note that this cup has no prizes whatsoever, it's just for a bit of fun, the two reasons behind this are 1) you need to be organiser to have faceit prize pools and i have no experience organising any tournaments so they're not gonna accept me and 2) the whole reason i made this was so people who wanna play a cup dont have to deal with pointfarm teams that consist of 4 polish <400hr spy mains that wont show up to the game

honestly faceit just needs something to encourage actually good players to join and use their service, since like late december its only been 50h players + low level players that are just supporting faceit and it makes games way less enjoyable. the typical game is a roll where one unlucky team gets someone from the infamous pool of retards (rastastr8, venom, bishop, DENIS) (eremenko MC has now evolved into a questionable playmaker), or one player just leaves and fucks it for the team because theres no sub system.

• Add a substitute system that after a certain amount of time it picks a queuing player with similar elo to the guy that left
  
• Make a separate queue/ladder system for people over a certain elo (1200 is probs a good number) with bigger prizes in faceit points OR make a newbie queue so poor EREMENKO MC can hone his skills there
  
• make the hour limit 100 for players just registering TF2 with their faceit account
