ProSkeezI know b4nny's opinion on maps isn't the most popular around these parts but I highly recommend giving his video a watch. It makes a lot of sense even if it might blow in the short term

I don't get the point of that video. To tell the story of the few of many maps that had potential to be great of which only few made it? Nothing has changed in that regard. The promising looking maps are still played and given opportunity to develop and then becoming a staple (sunshine) or dropped if their major problems arent fixed even after number of seasons (reckoner). If there's a promising enough map with a lot of potential it will be given similar treatment to all the maps banny mentioned, even if just for the purpose of getting rid of badlands.
And yes in the past more incomplete/awful maps were introduced but the game has developed and we have more references to make it easy to spot which map has potential and which doesn't and since the game is old and has fewer players there is lower number of map makers leading to fewer new maps.
Another argument that could be made is that in the past valve/early custom maps just sucked for 6v6 and since today we already have many good maps there is less need to adopt half baked might get good type of maps.

#224 VTF Crosshair pack in Customization
shinsoIs there a way to change the position of the crosshairs? Due to my low res and 4:3 ratio the crosshairs arent fully centered

the crosshairs provided should all be as centred as possible (off by 0.5/1px) but you can try messing with "x" and "y" in the script file

shinsoAlso another issue ive had is that for some reason the sapper crosshair doesn't want to change, Ive reinstalled it multiple times but it doesn't want to change off of the big cross crosshair which i picked the first time i tried out these crosshairs

#4 No smoke script problem in Q/A Help
D3rKeiZAs I stated before I have noone of those scripts. Something happened after I installed vtf crosshair and changed the explosions to "sapper destroyed". After I uninstalled vtf crosshair and rest of the scripts I had the explosions still were not showing up, just like TF2 somehow changed the state of explosions

the games takes any files that are custom and reads them instead of originals, doesn't change any of its files. Therefore if you have no custom files it reads the default ones, which you aren't able to edit (well you are but game shouldn't even launch)
you can try checking game cache
these are unedited converted weapon scripts, try to put them in https://www51.zippyshare.com/v/KWFW5B6o/file.html (cba filtering out those with explosions)

SitngusOk, sometimes it works for me, sometimes not, I don't know whats the issue. I have to reboot pc/game couple of times to make it working properly again

you probably are not preloading properly

thoroughly check your custom folder for tf_weapon_*.txt/.ctx and remove those
if you are using vtf crosshairs revert the explosion names back to default in respective files
