you should find the incriminated materials by loading into the map, placing crosshair at the material and typing "mat_crosshair" and removing said materials

Remove all configs and launch TF2 with -autoconfig -default in launch options
Reinstall TF2 (make sure to delete the Team Fortress 2 folder)

that'll just happen since you are abusing something that isn't meant to work, my best practice is to have everything in one custom folder, idk why but i noticed little to no reverting back to original having just one folder in custom
