dempseyDany+Jon flying well above the cloud layer and not struggling to breathe or anything? Felt definitely like the people designing the shots for this episode decided "hey, this would be a cool shot, let's do it"
theyre above the blizzard, which isnt natural weather, not above the clouds
dempseyThe undead seem to go between fucking braindead and emotional at the whim of the show's needs: Sometimes they clog up a doorway cause they're all too bloodthirsty too wait, other times they lift a little girl right up to their eye so she can stab them (seriously wtf was that)
agreed, sam fucking lying in a pool of them while unnamed characters die to a slap to the face was dumb. like we know some of the main characters are very strong but cmon they arent all gonna be the last ones left of their groups in a fuckfest like that
dempseythen arya's scenes in the library were overall nice, but who the fuck hears the blood dripping like that. I always assumed the undead were around human or even below human level skills, so less mobile/perceptive/thinking etc etc. but apparently they can hear some blood dripping in a room where people are dragging swords along the floor and shit?
then they dont hear one of their own being gutted, ushing blood onto the floor (i assume this wight had blood cause it was fresh) and then being dropped
overall it was a good episode, albeit one with weird plot holes in places and barely any character progression, and one that needed to be had since there's no other way to end this plot arc than a big fight and someone striking a key blow which will always feel anticlimactic. they made an hour long battle scene not boring, and the music and cinematography of the final few minutes made the end enjoyable
