I'm getting a certificate error when I try to join the Power Pugs Mumble server? Do I have the wrong address?
OwenLogitech G402 50% off, I have one and it's great, solid sensor/shape. There's this stupid gimmicky "sniper" button for DPI changing, but it's rebindable.
Dang... might get this to replace my Logitech G500... Can't even rocket jump with the G500 the deceleration is fucking AWFUL on my soft mat. How long have you been using it for? I've had my G500 for 5 yrs, and it's still going strong, does the G402 feel like it will last a while? I don't wanna buy something and have it break in a year.

This is only 22.50 if you have Amazon Prime, I really liked it but the mouse feet wore off quick and I lost the replacement ones. Should last you two years if you don't do that tho
Uhhhhhhhhh do some research on this mouse before you buy it. A whole host of complains about build quality, terrible quality control, mushy buttons, no customer service, terrible software that completely bricks the mouse. Buying this mouse is apparently a gamble, and winning in this case is getting a mouse that is actually functional. If you don't use side buttons (MOUSE4 MOUSE5), then the Logitech 100s for $11 seems like a ridiculously good deal, considering it has a sensor that is considered flawless. Someone said that the 100s is perfect for CSGO, but terrible for other games. Not really sure what that means, or how it's terrible for other games, but the more you know.
Hotline Games Competition mouse skates are apparently very good. Allegedly, they wear quicker on hard mouse mats so it's better to use it on a soft mat. You might as well replace all the mouse skates.
Tiger Gaming skates and Hotline Games skates are both made by the same person. If you want a comparison between the Hotline Games skates, Hotline Games competition skates, and Tiger Gaming skates, read this.
I think a lot of people claim Hypeglide are amazing, but they are more expensive. Hotline Games skates are probably fine...
I'm looking for a new mouse pad as well. This is what my research has yielded: For cheap + soft mats that are super slippery, your two best options are basically the Puretrak Talent and a variation of the Glorious PC Gaming Race mouse mat. If you're willing to spend up to $35 on a mouse mat, then people will recommend Zowie GTF-X (not sure if this is big enough for you, however).
If you want to spend under $20 for a pad, then - from what I've read - the Glorious Gaming mat is the way to go. The Puretrak Talent is very slippery, but the edges aren't stitched, and apparently the Talent gets dirty very quickly. The Glorious mat has side stitching, and has very good precision (allegedly), and is arguably as slippery as the Talent.
If you're looking at the QCK XXL, then, Glorious PC Gaming Race should have mats that are equivalent in size. If you think you're okay with 18 or 24 inch width, then the XL mat or the TCG playmat (meant for card games but same material as their mouse mats) are the best option. Even with shipping costs, using the code JOHNCENA will take 10% off your order, so the max you'll pay is around $20. LINK TO GLORIOUS PC GAMING RACE SITE
If you want to know where I got my information from: My own Reddit thread on the subject of slippery, cheap mouse mats
Keep in mind that I'm looking for a mat with great glide. These might not fit what you look for in a pad (you might want more friction). However, a slippery pad definitely makes it easier to side swipe super fast for rocket jumps and 180 deg turns. And you want good tracking on your mat too or your aim will jitter/lag when you swipe too fast. The Glorious PC Gaming Race mat apparently handles all these problems with ease.
mthsadwhat mouse do you use?
I have the Logitech G500.
I've noticed that when I play Team Fortress 2, I will get random mouse movements, such as suddenly looking 60 degrees to either side of me. I asked if anyone else had the same problem on a server, and they told me to check out my choke. I turned on net_graph and noticed my choke sometimes jumps up to 6/7. Also, I checked my autoexec just now and I have these lines in there:
rate 35000
cl_cmdrate 101
cl_updaterate 101
cl_interp_ratio 1
cl_resend 2
Can any of you guys help me solve this random mouse movement problem?
Many thanks, gfantom
Japanese curry over rice. The curry damn sure better have meat in there, preferably beef.
DamnKetoand also, here's the link if somebody asks: http://etf2l.org/forum/general/topic-22605/
How do I change the transparency level using this? Also, it works!
EDIT: Forgot to thank you, DamnKeto! Thanks <3
DrPloxotoo much gullywash.
could be nice when it works
I just noticed the Gullywash maps LOL. I think ranking players might be hard but giving "badges" or "awards" might be a good alternative.
Like a badge for playing 100 lobbies, 500 lobbies, etc. and a badge for playing scout for a number of lobbies, demoman for a number of lobbies. This would give others an idea of what your main class is and a rough estimate of your experience with competitive games, etc.
The one thing they left out are ads. I know they'll make the site look atrocious and most of us probably use adblock, but they are going to need some ad revenue to run the website.
I saw this on /r/tf2 and I thought it looked pretty cool and clean: http://www.reddit.com/r/tf2/comments/17xjzh/tf2centers_design_so_far_how_do_you_like_it_rtf2/c89qhx3
It pretty much looks like a Tf2lobby knockoff, but I feel like it's about time a new client has popped up, and this one looks nice so far. What do you guys think?
I'm especially excited for actual consequences for abusive and disruptive players, because the crap we've all dealt with in Tf2lobby is just awful.
So there's no way to get transparent viewmodels on all servers w/o a skin?
