#1 LF Scout Mid Open in Recruitment (looking for players)

Hello, we just had one of our scouts drop out for real life reasons and are looking for a good player to fill his role.

We're looking for mid open level skill with a large drive to improve and help the team improve. We scrim Monday through Thursday and sometimes on weekends. Hit me up if you're interested and we'll try you out.

#74 drop out in Off Topic

I dropped out of highschool in my senior year. Went and got my GED (which is a stupid easy test) and got a year of college before I turned 18. Shit was expensive so I joined the military to help pay for college. I now have a paying job and an easy way to get educated. If you have an Accosiate or Bachelor's degree with a good GPA that's what people look at, not your GED.

You need a plan if you drop out, don't do it because you just feel like it. It will make your life harder/make people look down on you, but you can overcome that with hard work.

#28 TF2 for dreamhack austin? in LAN Discussion

I'm going with a visitor pass only, I would've loved to play, but didn't pay much attention to the BYOC events. If there is some TF2 being played I would love to show my CS friends how fun it can be.

#1 Gardener's club LFP in Recruitment (looking for players)

Hello from the Gardener's Club! We are looking for a pocket to play in season 22 of Open. Mid open skill is a must with calling skills being a big bonus.

We are one of the few surviving newbie mix teams from last season posting a solid 8-8 record (with ONLY 7 FFWS!).

Hit me up if you are interested in playing.

#871 ESEA-O S21 Happenings/Predictions in TF2 General Discussion

Our team, Scared of Sundays finished the season 8-8 (with 7 ffws). Being one of newbie mix teams that didn't fold was a great experience for everyone on our team, we learned so much and had a great time. We shall be returning next season with a very similar team and hope to style ourselves as mid-open.

I want to give a big shoutout to Kevinispwn and the newbie mix staff for putting us and the other newbie mix teams together, it was a blast. I also want to thank our mentor Tery_ who taught us all so much about high level tf2 that we will be able to use for seasons to come.

Good luck to everyone in the playoffs!

Mechacop subbed for my team last season, he's a smart player, and is cool and very reliable.

#37 New Open Teams, how's your season going? in TF2 General Discussion
DreamboatIt sounds like you seem to be (mostly) enjoying your time, which is awesome. Best of luck during badlands week!

Even though we came in this season expecting to learn, it's still rough losing. Other than that it has been really enjoyable! I talked to the players on our team and we should be returning with at least 5/6 of our starting roster next season.

#34 New Open Teams, how's your season going? in TF2 General Discussion

I'm the Medic and captain for the team Scared of Sundays, created in the newbie mix drive and mentored by Tery_. In spite of our 2-6 record we're having a great time and everyone is meshing pretty well. We're taking it as a learning experience, as none of us have much comp experience besides iron UGC and one gold highlander player. We look to continue playing in ESEA for the near future thanks to the opportunity given to us by the Newbie Mix drive.

#1 LF Subs low/mid open in Recruitment (looking for players)

We're Scared of Sundays, a team created by the newbie mix drive. We need a few subs for this upcoming season, mainly pocket because he has HL every monday which leaves us one man short for scrims. We usually practice from 9-11 EST monday through Thursday, but Sunday is the only day we cannot scrim.

Please send me a message if interested
