I finally have a real people computer again and I'm feeling the itch to play again, seeing a bunch of old people I know come back. I'm down to play exploding black man for a team that's either just looking to have fun or a team that's actually committed to staying together and isn't struggling to get a full roster of people but still plays on the grounds that "yeah we'll be super playoffs material when we get X class!". I'm honestly not looking for playoffs material at all (I still have things to (re)learn myself because I haven't been able to be a part of a stable team since S9) but I don't want a team that's just going to be a shambles for a season that ends up breaking apart.

Video game nerd resume available upon request. League fees aren't an issue, neither is mumble if it's needed. I can play in whatever league. Please don't be underage, unforgivably retarded, or emotionally volatile, those are my only (unwavering and inflexible) requirements. I also like playing other games and I'm helping put together a Reflex map with a friend.

I'm pretty sure I heard this story here, but there was an article about a school principal in Texas who slashed the ever loving shit out of his high school's football and athletics program budget. Not only was the money reallocated to more useful and productive ventures, but since there was no longer any pressure from football, grades at that school went up a fair amount over the course of a year.

My mom was a teacher for a long time before she switched jobs. She constantly tells me even now that the Teacher's Union is one of the worst things to exist in the United States, always repeating one line over and over again no matter how she rephrases the commentary: "Unions work until they don't". The TU has gone from making sure teachers are paid and protected from corruption to being the engine of corruption.

I'd like to ask the following question: Are you guys honestly and truthfully having fun?

Between the cries of "WORST INVITE SEASON EVER", "EVERYONE SUCKS SHIT AT TF2 EXCEPT ME, MY TEAM, AND ANOTHER TEAM", and "IF YOU LEAVE ESEA AND STOP FUNDING LAN YOU'RE THE CANCER KILLING ESPORTS", I don't think you guys are actually having fun playing this game. If people are straight up being banned for no longer agreeing to play in a league that has a LAN that the mostly same group of people in a tiny community attend season after season, that's not just indicative of a problem with a league. That's indicative of a problem in the community in terms of people actually being people and not 100% self-interested monsters.
