Tonight's PUG is going to be short if it happens at all. Tonight's entertainment is cp_sunshine_a7 and cp_warmerfront_test_b8mk4 (kappy please let's just go to b9 PLEASE this is gonna be a pain in the ass to type out). If we do have some people on I kind of want to give Scorpio's new koth map another go to see if we encounter the same problems as last time, but I know everyone's getting ready for the first week of matches.

Kinda wanna know why Prototypes, Jas, and oov are gettin' the -frags because there's plenty of truth in their statements.

1. TF2 is fuckin' boring to watch unless you have a legitimate vested interest in the players who are playing. Not even going into match and LAN delays waiting for all 12 people to get ready, holding and defending are two of the most boring aspects of this entire game. Even in CS, a slow game in regards to player movement (ie. walking = no footsteps), you're not gonna have to wait four or so minutes for the next piece of action to happen because someone's around a corner with an M4.

2. While we've got 50 teams in Open alone this season, the point that we're a tiny niche in comparison to TF2 at large stands strong. People don't care about the game because Valve has turned the front page of it into trading and 24/7 chokepoint "feel good about yourself for being able to shoot down a narrow hallway with your dildo-covered hat" map servers. Most anyone who honestly cared about playing this game as a team in pub servers left a long time ago. TF2 is easily on forced life support with how sharp the degradation in community quality has been these past years.

3. People who actually care about comp play want to watch big names who are in the big leagues (or who have been) stream their games and cameradudes stream big matches. Everyone else ranges from 2 to 6 viewers at best from what I see in the sidebar.

So for one of my courses, my final project is to come up with something that will teach people around middle school and up proper usage of grammar (not just teaching people definitions). There's a really easy way out of the project that involves making a Choose Your Own Adventure book, and I could easily do that. However, I'm "that guy". I have an idea that revolves around presenting a really basic Android app. The gist of the project isn't necessarily to have a finished product, but to be able to have a formula that shows you can teach someone about the usage of grammar.

I'll probably be able to enlist some help from my friends from my old college who are here at my current one in terms of getting some more of the advanced things processed, but they're gonna be loaded with their own projects and tests to study for. I know I'm going to need Eclipse, and I have a bit of reading material I "acquired" through sources concerning Javascript, CSS, and general Android dickery. Am I going to need anything else? I'm not even looking to pump out a 100% completed app from this, just want to take an opportunity to mix something I enjoy with helping my major.

That's honestly really impressive. This is easily a step above the 360 and Dualshock controllers, and might make console FPS games NOT a complete pain and chore to play.

Real talk these tests are kinda dumb to me because the questions asked are really generalized and loaded, especially shit like "Justice over Mercy". I guess it's to be interpreted more as a framework than a definite answer to/description of personality, but it IS kind of annoying.

mason has a perfectly valid point about a general decrease in impressiveness and skill (a wrangler clip in any context is not indicative of skill). You're saying that because he didn't submit a clip, he's not allowed to criticize a work. Shit I bet if he didn't watch the video and simply brought up that he felt the videos had been lacking since the last episode he watched (like you thought he should have done because everyone must behave exactly as you think they should), you'd tell him that he's not entitled to have an opinion because he didn't watch it.

MOBA scene might be gigantic, hip, and viable for competition but I do NOT want any part of that assbackwards bullshit nonsense they call "drama". I may complain about the worst aspects of this place all of the damn time but jesus christ at least I'm not part of a MOBA community.

I've got 3 local places back home which are the bomb, all specializing in a different type of pizza. My favorite place by far is this one place called Mario's that's a local chain. They specialize in whole-wheat slices and those are legit good.

I get those every once in a while. Dunno why.
