You can fix most of these issues TBH im enjoying windows 10

well he isn't just getting ping spikes packet loss,choke,extrapolation any auto updating app or download dosen't cause those a tiny bit choke <10 mostly and little bit extrapolation it mostly causes high ping spikes he has loss,choke,and extrapolation which indicates something else is the problem either with his ISP or WIFI could be the router aswell

Well Powerline is quite stable but Wifi 5Ghz should be stable aswell considering you get good signals 2.4Ghz can and does make issues cuz of interference 5ghz isnt prone to this as it is a higher band and has more channels to choose from so it mostly dosent get any interferance but the signal is lower as compared to 2.4Ghz N wireless. ethernet is a surefire way to fix latency issues from you to the router but not everyone can do it powerline is good aswell dont have any personal experience tough.whats your router model perhaps try flashing a custom firmware if one is supported i flashed one on my cheap-o tp-link and my wireless 2.4Ghz works great after tweaking before with the stock firmware i was having alot of issues tough and i dont have many neighbour Wireless interference so i dont get as much wireless lag Try different channels flash a new firmware and then you can change even more wireless settings if they dont work then either go wired or powerline or just go that route if you dont wanna trouble yourself with the tweaking and flashing firmwares and stuff one last thing tough parallel match your antennas if you have dual antennas make sure one is facing side-ways while one is facing up

are you using wifi by any chance. your getting choke and loss and extrapolation which happens when the game cant interpolate anymore it then has to guess whats happening. choke can be caused by the rate value being too low increase the rate value until you are under <10 choke my suggestion start with 128000 and lower it until you start getting choke at that point raise it a tiny bit more and then see if you dont get choke anymore i personally had 30-50 choke spike when im in a full server so i set my value to 128000 as for the loss it can be caused by wifi and your ISP if they are having some issues. if you use Wifi try changing your wifi channel and for extrapolation for me i was on 2.4Ghz wifi i was having pings spikes and lag i fixed/improved alot by moving my pc a bit closer to the router and changing the channel of the router and other wifi settings as i have a custom firmware. if possible use wired or 5ghz wifi if you can

Hi i need help in determining and setting up my net settings

i have a 4/1 megabit connection and i dont get packet loss or choke and i have 100-130 ms ping to the avg server i connect i dont get packet loss so i can st the cl_interp_ratio value to 1 but i do have a bit high ping which then i should set it to 2 idk what to set here so please help me

Yeah i have set power options profile to high performance idk about background program with memory leaks haven't checked that and i disabled parking using park control csgo runs fine and i tested those fps on 24 player valve server as for the config thank you now i now which one to use

so i tried both your configs still get fps drops like down to 30fps sometimes usually it drops to 40 and i dnt know which config is the best cuz i tried both your configs the unstable and the stable one here are my system specs

RAM:4 GB 1333 MHz
Windows: Win 7 ultimate 64Bit
Resolution: 1920X1080 with 2XMSAA
Video settings: everything low/off exept texture to high model detail to high and multicore rendering enabled DXlvl 95

tell me first which config i should use secondly scence i know my gpu is stronger then my cpu idk which settings i should choose to get the max fps out of this sytem will upgrade to an i5 later but for now i have to settle with this so which cfg should i use? and any other tweaks/launch options?
