Not that i play comp at all but i think ctf could work, just maybe not 2fort style ctf, something like ctf_converge where the push into the other team's base is the important bit.

lanskywe need to focus on ways to test new maps with high level players and get good feedback from them

I'm pretty biased here but I wholeheartedly agree. No one is going to make good competitive maps if people don't work with mapmakers and regularly playtest them. People running new map PUGs last for a few months then fall by the wayside time and time again and this inactiveness by the community disincentivizes mappers to even bother.

Hey, i'm an admin over at TF2maps, if you want to help pub test the maps join the steam group and we'll have steam events pop whenever there is testing to be done like we always do. If you want to PUG it or stick it in a lobby or whatever either hang about in our Steam group chat and make it known or just test the maps and make sure everyone records thier POVs for the match or preferably an STV from the server and give it to the author or stick it in the Contest thread. If you're using mumble or something too, i'm sure they'd be appreciated with the demos.

Not true (http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/List_of_Community_item_owners) but ah, crap, Sal's backpack is private and he isn't in the wiki's list so I assumed he didn't. Well hope the sentiment is appreciated and hope others nominate other deserving candidates.

Before this gets all forgotten and Sal's time and effort put into competitive TF2 is but a vague memory.

Mr_PerfectSo happy this map made it! Glad its replacing GPit for 6s :)

Would be better for the gametype that both of them were kept in, so that teams actually know this type of map rather than it and g-pit being a novelty map type in the season/6s in general.
