#1 Hein finally streams in Requests

I finally figured out my router was limiting my internet to 5down/5up instead of 50down/5up. The stream looks fine, just needs some tweaking. Streaming out of USA

I'll be streaming pubs, pugs, lobbies, surfing, demo reviews, heinsight Q&A's, whatever requested. Probably matches as well at some point.

I play for The Syndicate UGC HL

#4 mechanical keyboard switches in Hardware

I have a keyboard I've used for 2 years with Cherry MX Browns. I've played on blues and now reds. The only ones I havent played on are blacks and greens. Browns are ok but a bit noisy. Blue's are even louder because they have a built in clicking mechanism to show you've gone far enough to trigger. Red's are linear with no bump (similar to black's but without the force needed). I have sound dampeners on my Reds and I highly recommend them. As frkn said red or brown. Blue is too loud, black too much force.

fraacDid you miss the bit where Hein found out he was cut?

But I wasn't....so it's false information. I'm still on the team. The "source" is not on the team. Facts are good to have. DJC just didnt have a good source.

Maybe now that S8 is over and this drama has been put I can make another appearance and clear the air and talk about the future of HL, how the invite limit changed the league S8, how the metagame has changed over the last few seasons.

JOELights_Hein is the reason Snailboat didn't take 5 rounds off eGO last night, his Medic gamesense is pretty awful.
Idk if it was hein or not, but we honestly should have gotten beat worse than what the score was. We played awfully, especially me ... =(

Shrug it off Joe. It's process. We both failed as teams. Watching Mr.Slin's cast showed a few mistakes we made as a team, and a few things I did wrong (flashing a few too many on last pushes). I ignored Lights dig bc I have no idea who he is, and...its process. You guys normally do work. I just did my best to avoid wulfy and wilson haha.

This is kind of off topic for highlander gossip. Lets get into some good stuff:

TMP left the syndicate of his own volition.
Polk has joined a Silver team to play with friends.
Ruwin is going to be a father soon after all the rapes that he did during the season (it was bound to happen with so much unprotected rape). Stay tuned for the outcome on Mory.
mTs is staying as a team and gearing up for another monster season.
Vhalin wins the award for turning a weapon most people thought was worthless into a game changer. Blackbox is beautiful.

Actually I think it all stemmed from this

mustardoverlordhein cut

Mustard, what are you stirring up?

Also I have no idea who the person DJC was talking about is. Shanny1123 or whatever, nor have I ever been in a mumble with that person. It'd be cool if they stepped forward to explain a bit.

#11 glitchy jump? in TF2 General Discussion

This happened to bman last night. It happens when you are coming out of the door as they cap. SO it involuntarily closes. He got vaulted up in the air in the same way. It was pretty funny to see. Not good to die or get stuck though.

#31 FULLY CHARGED Discussion and Feedback Thread in TF2 General Discussion

I wasn't able to watch this live since my 6's team was scrimming. But it was quite the shock to find out from DJC on the show that I was cut. This was very strange so I messaged Vhalin. He was not aware of me being cut from the team. It may not be my team, but I was pretty much a leader in all aspects of the word. Stabby and Vhalin formed the team, and brought me in for in game leadership etc.

TMP not wanting to play with me stems directly from the fact that he asked if he could stream our scrim vs bonus right before our match with mTs. Stabby/Vhalin/myself all said please don't since we'd be going over things. But since he had more than 10 viewers he was beyond caring about the team and thought more about his channel. We scrimmed granary for bonus, and also gpit for ourselves...after it was over I got a few messages all telling me that TMP had just streamed all the scrims and part of just strategy talk. So I did get mad at him. Then it was over and we focused on the bigger picture.

The accusations that I'm a screamer or yeller in game is pretty weird. The only person I'd really be getting angry with is Polk and that rarely happened. And once with TMP and then we found out he had been off his meds for a week or two....which lead to him getting back on them. But having that aired on a show without asking if it was true is a bit lame and drags my sparkling reputation in the dirt.
----
I've watched every Fully Charged since the first one with Brad and I. They've ranged in entertainment value. First few really mixed up things. Bring in a class, bring in a player from top HL and top 6's. Then it steadily cut out Highlander completely after a few episodes. If the point was to get those 5000 viewers that are new to the game interested, it would be beneficial to talk about the game type that they bring in. 6's is good to play and watch as well, but if they arent fully interested in it yet, then it would be good to keep bringing on some highlander folks.

MonkeySuitDid anyone else just watch Hein drop 3 times?

Yea :( 2 from Snipers, 1 from a demo that I thought would get cleaned up. My fault.

I think harbleu is an incredible medic. He did an amazing job in such a short time. He may have had more heals than me, but it also could have just been that we put out a bit more damage. I died 7 times less than him, we both had 33 ubers and 0 drops. I can safely say that we both did a pretty amazing job vs the high level of talent on both teams. Mad props to him and mTs.

LOL! What is this about me being cut? I've talked with stabby and vhalin and they dont know where this came from. The Syndicate is basically disbanding. Different players are going to different teams. Others are just not returning.

I don't know where this came from Sal/mustard/TMP.

#14 dx8 last person to join? in Q/A Help

I deleted all my tf2 files except maps/configs and redownloaded (it only picked up the essential, delete the folder, not remove from steam and it'll be fine). This took about 5 minutes and it's not crashed since. YMMV

#99 b4nny pov in TF2 General Discussion

The hardest part of giving over a demo is knowing that wrong will be pointed out. When I met b4nny at lan we talked about the prior match and how he felt about it. He was positive, but knew things needed to be changed. Here is the big thing that really makes me respect Brad: b4nny is considered one of the best, if not the best in the world at demoman. Yet Brad was willing to go through it and see things that he (as a medic and demoman) saw that could be worked on. A player from another team, giving pointers and tips on how to beat certain situations and learn from it. Thats huge.

That's what we call furthering the game. I take my own amount of flack from the community (mainly mustardover lord, shoutout baby girl) and I struggle with it and get frustrated by it. I think there should have been a moderator there to handle the nonsense and let the stream proceed.

Mad respect out to b4nny and Brad for this. This isnt just a thing for b4nny to learn from. It was an opportunity to change how people think in game. If you always play a certain way but you see Brad say "try this next time" you can then do it yourself and raise your level of game sense. Keep that in mind any time anyone streams, does strategies, posts threads on tactics. You can always learn from things even if its not your class. It could be a way to counter that class.

I've been a long time supporter of m0re and your broselhud. I appreciate the update.

I've yet to load it yet (will when I get home), did you make the updates for MvM support? Otherwise I still use the old one even though its out of date hah.
