for me SOAP DM is great for practicing stickies and pills
you'll basically have to predict air stickies or where to aim or flick your sticky launcher (or nade launcher) at in order to achieve great damage against your opponent (soldier(s), scout(s), demo(s)) and usually dm is fast paced so it should the way you want to practice
edit:
btw dm isnt a place where you can just spam and pray
preferrably tf2center is the best choice for team play and sticky spamming i guess

cause i use one that i got for around $50 which is a noise reducer and usb
edit:
last time i tried on a clip on headset the quality and durability was 6/10
