#3 $55 mechanical keyboard in Hardware

It's a $15 rebate, just so you know.

Still, $20 cheaper than Amazon minus that.

hanbrolochachi to be clear what mana's talking about only works with the 2013 death adder which can store settings. my old death adder didn't do that, i needed to use synapse every time (piece of shit software). you should check and see if you can do it at home, maybe just uninstall synapse temporarily?

I was going to say that you have it backwards and that the 2013 does not save settings because it has no internal memory while the old ones can because they do. I looked it up first and saw one post saying it was possible to save DPI. I guess I'll check this out later, but I don't think it will work.

manaChaChiThanks, mana. I also heard that only 1800 dpi is reliable on the deathadder. Is that true?I don't think so, I use 800 without issue. But I'm not an expert on sensors. I think someone is spreading bunk if they say it's just 1800.

I think the DA's default to their highest DPI. Just wanted to throw that out there, since you won't be able to change it.

Are we able to change the DPI on the SteelSeries mice? Are the keyboards mechanical? I doubt they are, but I just want to ask.

#20 PC in Hardware
brandbrandhookybrandbrand-dont get deathadder, but out of all the razor products, if you must, get that oneThis is really just personal preference. Many people hate the drivers, but I'm fine with them and I love everything else about my DA 2013.

Some people prefer a simple Microsoft WMO, and that's perfectly fine.
like, i agree that the DA 2013 ONLY is definetely the best way to go if you go through razor, but please, there are so many better options, i think that new, super amazing logitech, the one with the best sensor, but is heavy, and the scroll wheel becuz is metal jiggles, i think it is the g502? something like that, like i agree the hardware is definetely up to you, but i mean, i just dont think razor products are worth what you pay for

I got it for like $40 on Black Friday though. MSRP is only about $10 more than the G400s, and they have similar sensors.

#20 Looking at buying a new mouse in Hardware
yttriumWireless preferred, but a very light cable is okay; I play medic, not scout, so a small wireless delay isn't bad.

You should definitely use a wired mouse for medic. A wired mouse could mean the difference between popping and dropping an uber.

Even if you rebind attack1/attack2, a wired mouse would be best even for movement. Just because a medic won't be shooting a bunch of things doesn't mean that the medic won't need to move the mouse as quickly as possible to dodge other players.

But what do I know about mice you know everything apparently

#9 Turin and the Tourettes looking for Scout and Med! in Recruitment (looking for players)

OH ALSO I WON'T HAVE A BEDTIME IN THE FALL SINCE COLLEGE

I'll actually be able to play more than one, maybe two scrims a night.

Anyone else looking to try out: Three out of the four guys on this team are good dudes. The last one is a total douche I haven't met, but I'm sure he's chill if he's on this team.

#28 Youtube to buy Twitch? in Off Topic

I'm not sure how I feel about this. Streams are going to be much more stable, but we won't be able to stream copyrighted music (not like we're allowed to now, it's just not heavily enforced). This could actually kill Twitch in the long run, but so could not selling. Eventually, they would have to enforce music copyright anyway.

#1 Titanfall is $36 for 48 hours in Other Games

If you're thinking about buying Titanfall, now would be the time to do it; it's currently 40% off.

DO NOT BUY THE DELUXE EDITION. It is currently about $20 cheaper to buy the standard edition and then the season pass, which can be found here. Normally you would save $5 buying the deluxe edition.

Also, since the season pass is not on sale you can get it whenever. Found the season pass for sale: http://www.dealzon.com/deals/titanfall-cheap#titanfall-season-pass-pc Lasts until Monday at 12 pm Eastern.
