wolsneWhy practice movement in a game outside of the one you compete in? If you're just playing movement mods for the sake of it, I agree cs:s and going forward momentum mod will be the way but so many people surf/bhop/jump in tf2 to refine movement skills for competitive play.
by that logic why surf at all all when you can't surf in competitive play especially since you can make tighter turns on surf servers than you can on a comp server
surfing in cs and and momentum is 90%+ transferable to tf2

1000 bucks for a college laptop is extremely wasteful
go the your local used electronics shop and drop 200 bucks on a business class laptop with a removal battery so you can hot swap them if you run out of juice

in an attempt to be more inclusive on these forums i would like to take a moment to celebrate our diverse playerbase. this thread is dedicated to all the gays in our community -- we love you! without outing anyone without their explicit permission, let us discuss our favorite gay community members and why they are awesome.
this player came before a lot of you but my favorite gay tf2 player has got to be stratovarious. when he was active he was one of the best up and coming scouts. he was dedicated to the craft and if he hadn't chosen to quit for school there is no doubt in my mind that he'd be on a top invite team. not only that but this dude was freaking smart! i enjoyed chatting with him about life and philosophy.
