THEBILLDOZERTino_Anyone that knows the scene did tbh.
and this is what bothers me most after looking at the esea tf2 scene from an outsiders standpoint.
Theres something up with team culture in esea tf2. I've looked at other games and its really not normal for every roster except for b4nny and randos teams to be brand new every season. why is it normal to just make a new roster and try again if your sandbag team comes in second place? why not just make a team with people you enjoy playing with?
After starting to work with Faint and with Kredible and Hobin i've learned a lot about business and about publicity. An org wants to build a team, and we want to work with a team so that they can be known as the guys that work with us. Tf2 isnt the only team in our org. Our vainglory team recently left the scene but they were damn good, and around for no short time. Same goes for our CSGO team. So why is it that our tf2 teams are the ones that are making things difficult for us? From what i can tell the scene adores what we do, and we made invite playoffs last season to boot. I shouldnt have to come home from work and wonder whether or not our team is going to be playing tonight, or whether or not our team is even alive. It's ridiculous and makes it really hard as an org to justify sponsoring a team if its just going to fall apart week 1.
Now this isnt me shittalking the Faint roster. or either of them. What they do is their business. What i have a problem with is the way that ESEA tf2 treats teams, and who they do or dont want to play with.
My team tried to get sponsored by faint and I made it very clear we were friends who have played together for 2-3 seasons with no chance of dying, and they picked slicerouges team because it had bigger names.
