Quake live has a really good ranking system. Is that based completely off numbers? I bet a slimier thing could be implemented.

STV demo smoothing help

kirbyYou can't smooth STV demos the same way you can with POVs. You have to free hand smooth, which is a pain. I believe you could also bind keys to specific movements, but I'm not familiar with that.

So when I try to smooth a stv demo I am getting stuck. I get stuck at the point where I have to put in the start tick and end tick of a smooth. I hit reload, enter my start and end ticks of the smooth, but when I hit select the parameters of the smooth don't show up. Should I be doing something different to smooth a stv demo vs a pov, because this always works on povs.

I used to use v for the longest time, but switched to a mouse4 recently, and let me tell you, it makes a world of difference! If you have a mouse with side buttons, there is no reason you shouldn't bind it to mouse4/5.
