#20 Brilliant Idea in TF2 General Discussion
wi would also like to contribute an idea:

a gamemode to simulate a 1v1 situation at last point. one player has to defend a cp while the other player attacks

the attacking player wins by either killing the defending or capturing the point (harder to accomplish but its good practice to juggle players off the point)

the defending player wins by either killing the attacking player or delay the them corresponding to the map arena's spawn times

https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Respawn_times#Control_Point
eg. if the attacker doesn't accomplish killing the defender or capture in 10s on process last, they lose

ideally halves are taken where attackers/defenders switch roles. but i'm not sure what a good "best of #" would be

The tf2 equivalent of csgo retake, learn map knowledge smokes, bases, aim, and basically everything

RipTideVulcanI don't know any csgo pros who use bot death match as serious practice, maybe for warming up your muscle memory but you could just do the same on tr_newbotsMarkeloff, jw, hikoyttriumVulcanI don't know any csgo pros who use bot death match as serious practice, maybe for warming up your muscle memory but you could just do the same on tr_newbotsI think what he's suggesting is basically an endless SoapDM on a map with players mixed in with bots, intended as a replacement for MGENo i'm thinking more of a offline custom practice map that you can run on your own computer for those who cannot access soap dm servers for various reasons (like me) or simply prefer to practice offline

For simply practicing muscle memory tr_newbots is the best way to go, basically you want to practice flicking as many times you can, also the reason why mge>dm for raw aim.
