SetsulIt should be banned because:
- Can completely deny an uber by just clicking at a choke from the right distance
- Can one shot a medic around a corner (mini-crit damage + fall damage)
- Sends people flying away
- airblast is too random for a competitive game (debatable)

Any kind of undodgeable/AoE stun is retarded.

I do like that it's inaugural season 2-3 demos deemed it worthy of use (implying the rest thought it was bad) and now we're calling for it's ban. Shows how the paradigm changes and how people didn't think of how useful it could be. It also shows that it is possible that we are stuck thinking it's legitimately good when it's still a situational weapon.
Wasn't it like insanely bad when it was first released? iirc double donk wasn't a thing originally and it did less damage/knockback
It had more inconsistent damage and had double fuse time which means that donking people took more charging
it also did 153 max and I think way more self damage

oh yeah adjust fuse time / charging time appropriately (so they go the same distance with 0 charge before exploding and take the same time to go from 100% to 0%)
i think a good nerf for the loose cannon would be making the projectiles not go 50% faster than pipes

one of the best things about scout is running away, it's very hard to chase scouts because they're fast, especially without hitscan and at soldier walk speed. if they're far enough you can just dodge the rockets
backing out to a health kit or finding your medic instead of committing to a shitty fight or disadvantageous position is common sense

HOW TO KILL WITH SHITTY SCOUT DM:
-go in ONLY when your team / flank goes in
-2v1
-camp health kits
-sit on high ground
-don't fall off high ground for no reason
-have 185 all the time, seriously
-2v1
-backcap
-focus fire (call it, listen for it)
-2v1
-don't not 2v1
-reload scatters rather than using multiple pistol clips because the pistol is far, far harder to aim
-don't panic - you don't have to fire shots as fast as you can, spend just a little time to line them up, also remember reloading multiple shots at a time is more efficient
SCOUT V SOLDIER:
-2v1
-have high ground
-have 185
-abuse props
-jump over their head
-abuse health kits
-don't stand in closed spaces or chokes, or near walls
-stay at mid range so you can dodge
-stand on slopes that slope down behind you
-play engie/pyro/heavy
-if you play hl run atomizer, shits op
-if you can't win, leave
-count rockets - if he shoots all 4 you can rush him
-you can mash single jump but conserve your double jump to avoid rockets, soldiers like to wait for scouts to double jump because they then know where you'll fall
-surfing rockets gives you free height which means more time to kill
btw the real reason to use the carbine is to 1shot scouts with huntsman bodyshots and do 195 bushwhacka hits, it's pretty worthless with the stock rifle besides 2shotting scouts with noscopes
