Might just be a mental thing. Takes some people a while to get completely focused and to remove external thoughts/concerns. For example, at the start you might worry about how you are going to play/not losing/etc, but then after 10 minutes you just focus on the game moment-to-moment so perform better. Dunno.

We were just making up our own rules when we tested mm. No idea if that's even close to what valve has in mind. Plus I doubt they are done with balancing unlocks.

I'm not sure who it was as there was no mumble/whatever is used in asia overlay, but a bunch of asian players were discussing it while creep was streaming the other day. I think that's what started people outside of the loop talking about it.

Are we? I guess I should have quoted but I was addressing the points that suggested various teams were unworthy of playoffs due to results on irrelevant maps + there being "too many" candidates.

Either a team is considered a contender for prem or not. I dunno why a map test cup is being used as consideration.. Even pcw results are more useful than that.
