JojoI'm not really sure I understand shaming people for playing a lot of tf2 on a forum about competitive tf2. Big respect to you grinders I wish I still had your passion for the game.
i peaked at 100 hours every two weeks towards the end of high school and had a blast doing it
realized i was getting addicted when it was hurting me in college. that's what most ppl i'm assuming are happy about that are sharing smaller numbers now.
I bought the newbie mix team drive squad I coached Teufort Knights, which they all wore for matches. Was hilarious because to an outside party it would be pretty intimidating, but in practice was just super dorky and goofy.

it'll be at least summer of 22 before it's safe, based on the average age of tf2 players, vaccination schedules, and the average hygiene i've witnessed at prior lans

yes
people would generally rather play the game than teach. some of us prefer to teach over playing, but i don't blame anyone that's been around for a while for not wanting to teach kids about the hat game
newbie.tf discord / NA 6v6 Newbie Mix (both run by the same folks) are the best places for new players. We do demo review nights every once in a while in the discord, and playing in newbie mixes is still the best way to improve at the game

i have read that post. i looked at the map. spent a good amount of time jumping/walking around the map because it being off by a few hammer units everywhere was trippy.
