I don't understand how people can still use 1/2/3 for slot#. It's uncomfortable, and scroll wheel is dumb. QEF all day.

i dunno who's exactly in charge of making the top10 and why it's so far behind (if lack of clips, then understandable and this offer doesn't matter). but to whoever is in charge of it, as i currently have all the time in the world, i can work on getting the top10 out a lot quicker.

What are you talking about? Manually isn't the "best way," it's only a preference. Without Lawena, it's one less step, but with Lawena you record at the press of a button with custom skyboxes, easy viewmodel and FOV options, etc.

Plus, it's not the just startmovie and host_framerate. You have to adjust timescale and tell the game what framerate and video output you wish you record.

I think the proper command line is "startmovie asdf 480 tga" or something. It's been years since I've done it manually, so I'm probably missing something.

edit: And recording at 1,000FPS is completely unnecessary. Shit, even recording at 480FPS is unnecessary, but with 480FPS you notice a difference in motion blur and slow motion than with 240FPS or below, whereas with 1000FPS, you barely notice a difference to the point where it doesn't matter and you're wasting HDD space.

try moving all of the config and hud .txt files to somewhere else, like a folder on your desktop, then move the config to the appropriate folder and move the hud to the "custom hud" folder.

open lawena and change hud to custom hud, then try.

I wonder if there's seriously something wrong with him mentally. Not because of what he's done, but because he keeps coming back, not only to TF2 but to other games that are well informed of his inability to handle anything at all. It's like he thinks his problems will magically disappear and we'll stop giving a shit.

Maybe if comp. TF2 is still around in 5 years and none of us are still around (if that's the case), then maybe he can get away with it, but it will only turn out being the same thing as now.
