I do like dellort's point but june's have been so riddled with derision and inflated self-importance (not exactly uncommon) that I can't take them seriously. I do wish that eXtv had been more up-front with this, but to me considering the scale of a 'mistake' such as this one, as well as Sal's pragmatic attitude (he seems willing to scrap the 50 fps idea and put up a straight donation link if people prefer) this isn't a big enough deal to argue about. Thanks for the work on this documentary, can't wait for the nerd chills!

Wow. This hud is crazy nice looking. Only thing is that i wish minmode support was included so that i could switch crosshairs using a toggle, but other than that this hud is damn perfect. Gonna look into editing the minmode thing myself, I'll let you know if i do get it working so you can include it as an alternate version if you like.

Probably the best hud I've ever seen in my opinion, great work!

i have no idea what any of my other computer specs are, looking through system profiler atm but have no real clue where to find other specs. regardless, tf2 runs at high fps but very stutterily and inconsistently. looking forward more to a smoother game (hopefully)

So I'm stuck on my macbook pro (shoot me now) for a little while (on vacation and also without internet for long periods of time) and I've been spending the hours in the middle of the night when I can't sleep (when I usually play tf2) making custom crosshairs and new configs and stuff. I was fiddling around with GIMP (basically a free photoshop) to make images to use as crosshairs.

However, now I'm running into trouble converting my crosshairs into vtfs and vpks as the GIMP vtf plugin and VTF edit are custom executables and don't work on my mac. Any easy way to convert my crosshairs into vpks and vtfs so I can use them in-game? If not I could always upload the images themselves and people can convert them with photoshop if they're interested in what I've made

tl;dr: is there an easy way to convert images to vtfs/vpks on a mac?

Other than a skin (custom particles) i dont think so.

Maybe enable the little healed sign over peoples heads and try to make your medibeam invisible? might need to be in dx8 or something too, i forgot what caused that bug.

Call me crazy but I liked the last two in your first post. First one is a viable alternative imo as well, but I prefer the simplicity.

Can you change the colors on the kbn charge meters to blue, or tell me how to do it? I've only been able to do it for uber and huntsman. Also, the permanent scoreboard thing is interesting (switching weapons using the 'use' command etc.)
