I am looking to upgrade my GPU and am currently considering a RX 5700 XT or a RTX 2070. I´ve been comparing benchmarks and it seems that the rx 5700 XT has a better price / performance ratio. But im not sure how an AMD GPU would work with my current setup, and if there are other possible bottlenecks I am missing.
My current Setup:
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K
GPU: EVGA GTX970 SuperSC ACX 2.0
SSD: SanDisk SSD Plus 240GB
RAM: HyperX Fury DDR4 2400 C15 4x4GB
MBD: Gigabyte GA-H170M-D3H-CF

Hey guys, i hope someone can help me with my fps drops/stuttering. I tried several FPS configs(all chris's configs and comanglias). It seems that Chris' highframes config runs the best and most stable for me.
The FPS drops even occure on servers with only 4 people and on servers with 24 players on it.

My System:
