brownymasterAlgebra has so many everyday applications it's not even funny. But I guess it's because you and your friends are young and they might not be doing well (and I was a math team nerd).

That is almost like asking "do I need good grades?"

If you want a decent career you have to do well on school and on college. Suck it up, algebra is the lowest of the many challenges you have ahead of you.

And for fuck's sake if you can't even spell algebra right, you should start worrying about your future.
