NURBEYI don't know how anyone who thinks for a second that LnL & MG are deserving to be banned are not completely embarrassed to have that opinion. Watching people play invite these last 2 years is like watching the game actively devolve because of the lack of critical thinking skills anyone wants to put into any of their gameplay.
If you go off of an unlocks potential, then you should ban the direct hit and force of nature as well. Those weapons, theoretically, are straight upgrades over stock if you never miss. The Sniper class literally accomplishes everything people complain with these weapons but 100x better.
It is literally impossible to ban things based on what is fun and not fun because it is beyond subjective. People enjoy using the market gardener, and people hate playing against the crossbow, etc. You open a rabbit hole of bans that becomes purely wishy-washy.
Bans should only be made based on if a better team loses because they didn't run the unlock, and it is an absolute necessity to run. EVEN THEN you can't use this as a basis for bans, because then you would need to ban the crossbow & the gunboats.
What valve thinks is not considered in the conversation at all for weapon bans, and hopefully the people who are giant crybabies about unlocks that are borderline meaningless will gain some self-awareness and just actually get a spec of skill at the game and get over themselves.
Derail the thread about me or w/e, I want nothing more than TF2 to grow and it's beyond aggravating that over a decade later we still see the same stupid aggravating argument because people refuse to learn how to play tf2 and want to bitch n moan about the stupidest shit.

Blu2th1000miskyworksaside from the first heavy clip, all the other ones feel kinda unconvincing for yen to be cheating, or at least i dont really know how they seem like cheating clips.
for the clip at 2:17, where hes shooting at two soldiers i dont really think it looks that weird, he was initially shooting the soldier to the left that he already hit for some damage and then went forward a bit, but then that soldier jumped away and if he chased him he wouldve just been shot from behind by the other soldier.
and as for the flicking back and forth between the two soldiers, it was just one flick back to the soldier that jumped away that looks like he was just checking once again if that soldier was actually out of reach or not before committing onto the soldier closer to him.
id be interested in hearing other explanations for why the clips seem like cheats
i agree. i feel like more people are calling cheats because of how often these situations with the same reaction happen, which is fair. there are some clips where i am definitely convinced, but those are far and few between.
how can you see a handful of clips where these guys are def cheating, but then point to the ones that are less blatant (but still quite suspicious) and say "but but but these other clips are actually not obvious cheating!1111"?
If someone gets caught cheating in one game out of a thousand are they probably not cheating under your logic?

Does this give better performance? Or specific commands that go untouched by Mastercoms?
