Barely above 1GB on settings that'll drop you down to 30fps.

There is no need for 4GB VRAM on 1080p
Any settings that would actually warrant 4GB and a 380 won't cut it.
Didn't know that. Thanks for the enlightenment!

The 380 is faster.
For 1080p I doubt you'll need 4GB.
I agree with you, it depends on what games you play though. (e.g. you'll never need 4gb for tf2 but for it doesnt hurt to have those extra 2gb in gta 5 or the Witcher 3)
yuiceDoes anyone have a recommendation of a case under $50 US that has a case window? Preferably a black case.
Corsair 100R.
deguCZHey, looking for GPU upgrade, NVIDIA GTX 960 and AMD R9 380 are in my budget, both for the same price (local dealer). Witch one should I take? Both performing about the same in game tests but NVIDIA offers some extra technologies. And is the 4 GB version worth of concidering?
Thank you for help
I would personally buy the GTX 960 because of all the fancy NVIDIA technologies you already mentioned, consider looking at these comparisons: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-3.html (scroll down to Best Graphics Card For ~$190) / http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-R9-380-vs-GeForce-GTX-960#differences
The R9 380 overall has the best price-performance ratio and the 2gb of the 960 can cause framedrops (http://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/f14/amd-r9-radeon-380-nvidia-gtx-960-a-1078035.html#post23618532).
If you have a couple of bucks left, you could go for the 960 with 4gb or just pick up the R9 380 if you're fine without the fancy NVIDIA stuff.
