Weapons in HUD?

You can do it with VTF images, however it will replace your crosshair, but you can just use a hud crosshair instead.
or you can have a crosshair and the image as the vtf
the main limitation is how some weapons share a file file so there is some overlap, for example with original and stock

Using GCFScape ive only ever found a vmt file for the ingame crosshairs, im not sure you can do much with these as they are just text files

It would be very cool if you could find a way to implement vtf crosshair customization since so many people stuggle doing it
also can you add the option to chose which no explosion scripts i want since i've seen 4 different kinds
