I'm not building a new rig, just need to pick a CPU. Thanks, though.

I'm currently rocking an i5-3570k. I'm going to be putting that CPU and motherboard in my wife's PC, so it's time to get a new mobo and CPU for myself. I'll be pairing it with my GTX 780. Recommendations? I mostly play games but will also be doing some light video and photo editing.
ObiIf you want something that badly, and you have the money, odds are you're going to end up buying it. What monitor do you use now, it might not be that much of an upgrade.
Right now I'm using a BenQ XL2420T, so a 1080p 120Hz monitor with no G-Sync. I also have a 1440p ASUS monitor, but its only 60Hz, so I don't game on it.
I've been wanting a G-Sync monitor for a while, and $519 for this refurbished ASUS 1440p monster seems like a good deal. Thoughts?

Can someone help me add transparent viewmodels to boatshud? Thanks mates.
komorebiWatching Spanish movies and listening to the music is a great way to learn and it's how children pick up language so there's a fairly large body of research suggesting that simply being exposed to a language helps greatly. Also, depending on where you live in the US it's entirely possible there are native speakers in your area that maybe you could teach English to in return for Spanish. Having an actual physical teacher is essential if you're truly after 'fluency' because the higher aspects of language such as formality, connotation, tone, intonation, etc are hard to learn from a book or online. Good luck man!
Definitely some good points there. Fluency is absolutely my goal in this endeavor.
thanks for the input guys, much appreciated
For anyone who's ever actually learned a second language and became fluent - what method did you use? Is Rosetta Stone a viable method?

Just don't use SAM while you're connected to a server. That will cause a VACation.
Just a heads up for anyone who may be interested in that Leopold and doesn't want to wait for shipping from Korea: I contacted mechanicalkeyboards.com and was told they should have them in stock by the end of the month and will be taking preorders this week.
So the only place I see that board in stock anywhere in on eBay from a seller in South Korea. You guys think it's safe? I don't want to get burned.
Now if I could only find one in stock.
SchalalaaLeopold FC660M maybe? Literally 60% + Arrows and Ins/Del

Looks literally perfect. Thanks mate.
So I currently use a Vortex Pok3r keyboard, which is a super small 60% layout board. I love it, but I'm finding more and more that for certain thigns, I miss having dedicated insert and delete keys and arrow keys. So that means I'm in the market for an 80% layout keyboard.
My list of wants:
1. MX Brown switches
2. PBT keycaps
3. Sturdy construction like the Pok3r
4. No backlight, or at least the ability to turn the backlight down.
