what's your mouse polling rate?
For sure it has major issues (the servers are east coast and suck dick, for one thing). There are bots in the pubs but that's not inflating player count, 150 concurrent real people sounds about right. It's unfortunate because the gameplay is fun. As long as they have private lobbies available you can always pug or play honorball with your friends or whatever so it doesn't bother me that much that pubs are shit.
The comp discord ran a newbiemixes type thing a few weeks ago, I'll post here if they do another one

it's in early access still and not that active of a playerbase, fun game though and we've been playing 7v7 pugs most nights, I see a few TF2 players in there
unban cowmangler but run a plugin so you only get to use the alt fire
Lobby was better in the previous version, it favors the team defending last too heavily now. Impossible to peek med as attacking sniper if the enemy demoman exists. Right now it kind of feels like snakewater lobby, if the shutter didn't exist at all and you could only walk through dropdown. Just too chokey.
I think there should be a way to see into last (check offclasses etc) without committing through a door. Why not a window in lobby? If the hiding place above dungeon is too precious to you despite being worthless above AM level, then make it 1-way glass
half baked idea i had
oops I forgot to remove the labels from the background, fixed and reupped
This originated from a late night idea nk had in our team discord - here is his picture and explanation:

these are mostly Vibe-based Judgements but:
"Honest" to "Volatile" is about how impactful random shit is to an average match. Can a bad team grind the one map and come up with a bunch of brainmelt-type tactics in order to win?
"Scrappy" to "Composed" is about how much of the match gets decided by DM fights -- those moments where everyone's taking 1v1s, 2v2s
here are the template files to make your own: https://www.mediafire.com/file/yv5ihp7iyqn1093/tf2-compass-template.zip/file
I also put raw eggs in all my smoothies but your mileage may vary
