BonafideIt all depends on what your power management settings are, and as far as fps configs go, are you sure you don't have a fps cap, and if you don't are you sure your autoexec.cfg is in the tf/cfg or tf/custom/customfiles/cfg folder?
Got it. Yes my fps config is in tf/cfg. Tf2 is using the config since everytime i install one i notice the graphics/textures change.
So i play tf2 on a laptop and when i unplug my laptop i get the exact same fps as when i have it plugged in. Just wondering isn't this kinda weird?
Also, fps configs never did anything to my fps. I get around the same fps without all those configs.
Anyone with similar cases?
Thank you.
yes i will be playing some games on my steam library and wii games.
I think it may be worth it since 500$ is the highest im willing to go for a tv and i doubt theres other ones around that price just as good right?
Echo_love-so the bottom line is it may not be worth it now right but who knows in a couple years?actually if you use a blue-ray dvd player and watch blue-ray movies within a 2 foot radius of the tv, then it will be the best picture you've seen, but if that isn't the case then you should probably not get that high of a quality
i will be watching pretty close to the tv (my bed is really close to my desk) but ill probably be watching torrented movies so its kinda the same between this one or a normal 1080p right?
so the bottom line is it may not be worth it now right but who knows in a couple years?
Echo_What I can assume (based on my tv) is that the only time you utilize the 4k is if what you are watching and/or playing can get up to the 4k quality. I do not have a 4k tv, however my tv has HD capabilities but some things that i watch aren't able to reach that quality.
Like I said, that's just an assumption. I would almost say talk to someone at a store that has the same tv or something like it and ask them the questions.
Thanks, ive been studying online and i'm seeing alot of people saying it isnt worth it either for games or movies :/

So recently ive been thinking about ordering a tv on amazon and i found this one with 50% discount. Im generally clueless about some specifications, maybe some of you could have a little more experience on the topic. Is 4k worth it? Ill be using mostly to watch movies and play games. Thanks
Does anyone have this version of knhud?

how do you close your account or rename yourself in etf2l?
thanks
i think its fixed now that i changed hitsound, if the problem restarts ill post back
thank you
i can try a different hitsound but i dont think thats the problem since it doubles the sound on hp and ammo pickups too i think
my tf2 hitsound doubles itself, like i hear 2x when i hit someone
has this happen to anyone, fixes?
