I wish there was a better developer for freight, i thought the map could have ended up pretty interesting and unique for the map pool. obviously huge love for yukon i think the map would be fun to have back in rotation, also mainline was played in 1 season of ESEA and had potential.
if people genuinely have interest in this I could try and get the map decompiles and see if we can make some changes to the classics for testing.
when will there be more info about this? just curious who will be behind determining the invite teams, the venue, how the qualifiers work etc

you dont have to, there is a default ringer rule on rgl. invite teams have been doing it all season without having to pay for players.

If you are one of the best 9 teams in rgl you SHOULD play invite instead of farming lesser teams in a div you don't belong in.
If you wan't to find a cause for the invite division not filling up,l look no further than the invite playerbase not stepping up to do so.

Im just saying that if we want the player rating system to effective you also cant expect RGL to force teams into invite at the last minute when teams drop out (myanimelist) and RGL also never stated there would be a 9 team invite in the first place. This would obviously really fuck up player ratings on RGL itself.
Like i said, I agree with you that the best teams should fill the div regardless, I believe that will happen next season. What im saying is with animelist dropping literally as last as possible from the div as well as invite starting a week later than the rest of the divs this season did make move ups complicated.
