saying stupid shit and ending it with a ;) should result in you losing internet access for a year and get you sent to some kind of camp where all you do is build log cabins and sing kumbayah

panicking as soon as you see the page isnt exactly a great habit, its kinda like being scared of being scared. i dont really have a solution for you other than remembering that dreading something is a waste of time and stresses you out for no reason
if you arent going to fail the test, why let it bug you?
if you are going to fail the test, no amount of feeling like a piece of shit or losing your mind now will change the amount of work you have to do later to fix it
i know when i had exams id be anxious about id just start with the absolute easiest thing i could figure out how to do, the things i was 100% certain of and then id work from there
im talking incredibly basic shit like 'write a method named 'abacus' which takes x as an argument' and me literally stopping there and writing
def abacus(x)
end
im really momentum based when it comes to exams so things like that would help me get comfortable and rolling into more complex questions
Nusemanmnuseman play a few seasons of invite then get back to me if u think any of that is accurateHey I'm perfectly open to thoughtful discourse on the matter so you can add me on steam if you feel the need to prove me wrong but if you're just posting for the sake of making it look like i don't know what I'm talking about, then I'm not gonna argue about this with you on the forums.
what im saying is exactly that, you don't know what youre talking about
a long time ago i thought the same thing and have heard that sentiment echoed through many, many lower level players
assuming you understand what/why a player who exceeds you in skill is doing really only sets you up to be frusturated because
(a) if you actually know what hes doing all the time and it still works against you OR you dont adapt to play with it, why should the higher skilled player change what hes doing just so the lower skilled player can deal with it?
or
(b) youre pulling the classic reddit "i understand the game at an IM level but i play steel because of my mechanics lolz"
ive played on a lot of teams/pugs where ive been the support/fodder/meatshield for people who i felt baited too hard, but i always did my best to trust them and make the space they needed to get something done
i would much rather be the asshole in the back potshotting enemies waiting for my late buff to go shoot three people in the back but that doesnt exactly line up with my skillset
calling people who have proven to be capable of playing at a higher level than you close-minded can be accurate, but working yourself into a fuss over whichever asshole pugchamp scout is losing with a 3:1 kd is pointless
as far as the second thing you said, my original post is still accurate
invite is (was) a huge time commitment and the vast majority of players who do well against invite teams/players in pugs/scrims fail to do so in matches which is why you (used to) see the same recycled arguably mediocre invite players season after season because while not being allstars, theyve proven to be at least competent and nobody wants to waste time taking a chance on timmy twoshotter just because its not worth the risk
as far as "wasted talent" im not exactly up to date on who's the new hot shit but for the vast majority of players 5 mins of observing and a conversation makes it pretty clear as to who actually has the ability to perform and who doesnt, and i havent been impressed in a while (go bo4r)
im pretty sad about typing all this up but its far better than the code review im sitting through rn so whatever
nuseman play a few seasons of invite then get back to me if u think any of that is accurate
the idea behind netbalancer is to just see what is going on with your traffic, if its something else thats gassing all your bandwidth that happens to run during wow or if its only wow, if nothing fishy pops up maybe try throttling it a bit and see if that changes anything
its not streethoops if it doesnt have the grue two and ash
cw said the only thing worth reading on this page
if u have fun playing tf2, play tf2
don't expect to be able to turn it into a lifestyle, enjoy your meatshots then move on
Have you tried a program like netbalancer or another one which shows you your i/o as far as networking goes?
Have you tried a vpn?
Are you able to connect to the internet in any other way to see if the problem persists?
'u know how i know ur not smart? how many vertebrae do u have? exactly.
DatDrummerGuyTinChoIf we are not only talking about tf2, then ex-bf4 pro relaaa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAJb_1M7sZ0&t=7s

im gonna go out on a limb and point out how the current tank-heavy meta really compresses the skill difference in teams and id say that on any other meta nrg would handle both of those rosters pretty easily despite them not playing well as of late
theres a lot of "upsets" going on rn that more or less are from teams being really down to run tri/quad tank lineups because theyre much easier to play and teams being stubborn in trying to counter it
yeah there have been some really unfun/skillless meta/patches in the past but with how insanely well ana still works with tanks the games just not in a great place atm
