had a good talk with some friends i have become increasingly distant from
I just wanted to make a thread where we could thank veteran frag clip editors for all the countless hours of work they’ve put into making content for all of us to enjoy.
Specifically:
This is obviously not a complete list, but thank all of you for your controbutions to the TF2 community.
I wouldn’t have gotten into competitve tf2 or editing at all if it weren’t for Beater. Your content inspired me (and likely others) to grind DM and try to make comparable videos. It all truly started after you made a tutorial video on how to use the necessary software to make it happen (which at the time was super a super painstaking and agonizing process!!!)
Thanks guys.
holy shitpost
della is UNREAL at this game. massive brain, insane dm.
mastrej has insane dm
i am gathering from the downfragging on every comment that one should proceed with caution when trying out for this team
pretty good at medic, idk about soldier
yeah, we’d need permission from ESEA, ESA, and the invite players.
i use “we” very loosely, i have no power within ESEA or ESA
ReeroIt would also be weird for Rewind as an international event. If its invite finals and 7 makes it to GF then what do we do? I'd rather have online finals but still have a major style international LAN. Scheduling would be weird because if one of the ESEA seasons falls close to actual rewind so how exactly would that work out if you wanted to have 2 LAN events hosted by ESA (in such close proximity to each other)?
my idea is that its essentially two seperate events. the ESEA finals happen, then 1-3 days later, regular Rewind tournament happens.
(or the opposite.)
wait command doesn’t work outside of sv_cheats 1 iirc
i am greedy and appreciate your generosity
tonywhile it would be cool to watch esea finals live, i think that the clump of content would be much for anyone to enjoy. same reason why the few lans we have are nice to have spread out across the year. dont know how others might feel about this though.
I had considered this, and depending on how long each block would take, there could be a day or two in between depending on how willing ESA is to host us for that long.
what if rewind was rescheduled so that it happened during ESEA finals, and the top 4 teams or top 2 teams could compete to win ESEA on LAN, and then before or after ESEA grand finals, the regular Rewind invite tournament could happen.
just a thought, idk about the logistics or who to talk to or if its even mildly possible, but if it is i think it would be worth considering.
discuss
in addition: it would be healthy for ESEA and competitive TF2 for spectators to have not only look forward to watch ESEA finals, but also Rewind 3.
