#6 cp_badlands buzzing static noise in Q/A Help
A-R-Wow I thought I was going crazy, I heard the same noise on granary earlier today while playing a lobby. I shrugged it off because I could not hear the noise on my local client when I loaded cp_granary.

I just heard the noise on cp_granary too.

DamnEasyTry snd_refresh, and try to record it so we can hear it

I tried snd_refresh, and that didn't solve the problem; I'll try to record the noise later.

ShunRaise snd_mixahead?

Raising snd_mixahead to the default value of 0.1 didn't fix the issue.

#1 cp_badlands buzzing static noise in Q/A Help

I recently started hearing a buzzing static noise as a constant background sound in cp_badlands, I've noticed that a few other people have complained about this as well.

I've completely removed all my TF2 files, disabled the Steam Cloud, used a default installation, and the problem persists.

What's odd about this noise is that it only occurs when I'm playing in an online server; if I locally open the map on my client with 'map cp_badlands' everything sounds fine.

* After writing this post I noticed the same issue on cp_granary too.
