maybe if you were comparing the difference in success between an asian immigrant and an african or caribbean immigrant, which would be smaller to begin with (and also somewhat dependent on the demographics of immigrants coming over, e.g. that most chinese immigrants are middle class to begin with)

but there's a difference between immigrants and a marginalized underclass that has been present for hundreds of years (especially one that was formerly enslaved)

and no, asians, your success where black people have failed doesn't make you smarter than them. it's luck and circumstance.
