#17 ESEA Season 23 announced in News
Failw1zardis it worth being in open if our team can only scrim 3 maybe 4 nights a week?

That is perfectly fine for open, in fact, that is actually more than a fair bit of teams playing in open right now. If your team is serious about playing in open I would encourage you to also look for a mentor (Make sure to do background checks to ensure they are good or risk being given bad advice. Avoid those who will only do it if they get paid as well- they are usually not the best people).

#15 How important is good fps? in TF2 General Discussion

The increased smoothness @ 144hz with good fps helps with hitscan aim a pretty decent amount. Do keep in mind however that most people GREATLY over exaggerate the benefits of (or dangers of not having) 144hz, mostly due to the fact that once you have played the game with it, playing with 60hz feels very wierd and can even give mild eye strain. If you are playing scout and care about getting good I highly encourage you to invest in getting a good monitor.

Additionally, I feel its important to stress that even if you don't have a 144hz/120hz monitor it is within your best interest to use a graphical config to increase your FPS regardless of whether your display will actually display all of those extra frames. Inputs to the game will be more accurate and your overall gameplay experience will feel better. It can make just as much of a difference as having a good monitor.

Side note: I saw no dramatic difference in projectile aim when switching monitors

#1 Daffodil LFT S23 in Recruitment (looking for team)

Edit: Epic change of plans IRL, turns out my schedule is pretty confused for a while and I am not really gonna try to find a team until I sort it out.

I am not sure whether to feel bad or good for future US history students that study this election.

#2 Benn LFT Open (Scout/Roamer) in Recruitment (looking for team)

Sleeper pickup. EDIT: In all seriousness though, Benn picked up the game extremely fast and has really good DM. Despite this being his first season in ESEA it is very likely that he would be able to play in High Open. Don't be discouraged from trying him out just because he only has HL experience.
